Newsroom is a project for students or anyone who wishes to train as a professional multimedia news or travel journalist.
The project is currently in English language and includes digital and broadcast formats. It contains three key parts - skills, knowledge and operations.
Skills program
Learners are trained in specific skills needed to perform at professional levels - such as general guidelines for writing, language and styles, voice skills and presentation before a camera inside a studio and outdoors.

Knowledge program
To get to know things relevant to news and other subjects, trainees pick topics to work on and publish their stories on the Newsroom website in text and multimedia formats. Before publishing, trainees work with the chief trainer to fix errors in their work, which is key to learning.
Operations skills
Operations involves technical training, which is using both software and hardware involved in the production of a multimedia product.
The technology could be - Content Management System or CMS, video editing software, using a mobile phone camera to make professional images and videos, studio hardware and onsite reporting technology.
