By Santosh | Police in Mumbai are investigating, after India's richest man Mukesh Ambani, received a death threat this week.
Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries - received the threat - in an email. It said, he would be killed, if he did not pay up rupees 20 crore.
The person who sent the mail, was identified by police as - Shadab Khan. The email, also warned, that India had some of the best shooters.
Sixty-six year old Ambani and his family are not new to threats. Last year, a man was arrested, after he called up and said - HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Ambani's residence in Mumbai would be blown up.
In 2021, a car with explosives, was found near the billionaire's residence. Later, the man who owned the vehicle was found dead.
Mukesh Ambani, is currently the thirteenth richest man in the world. His Reliance Industries, is India's most valued company, by market value. Some of the other companies owned by Ambani are - Jio platforms and Network 18 media group.
